Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute

I had a terrible experience there today. I had an appointment at 2pm and was driving all the way from Greensboro under the rain. I called to let them know that I was probably not going to make it at 2 o'clock sharp. I was told there was a 10 minute grace period. I got there within the grace period and couldn't get checked in right a way because there was a patient being checked out. I didn't want to interrupt them to let them know I had arrived. The check out of the person took about 10 minutes and past my grace period but I had been standing right behind the patient. The person at the desk went in to check if I could be seen and the answer was to reschedule. I even asked to be seen for less time that I was supposed to since it was only a follow up visit to read my test results that were normal; but I still made the effort to come in to the appointment that was given to me few months ago. I would definitely look for another provider. They just didn't care about solving the situation at all. I regret having come there after I drove 100 miles and had to drive back another 100 more. I only came there because I had the appointment set up before I moved to Greensboro. There are plenty of providers that I could see in Greensboro or Winston Salem. Won't ever come back there!

We all get a little in edge seeing a Heart Dr or any doctor, It took me 15 minutes to check in( even though I checked in on the app) finally seen Dr Haber he listened to my concerns and ordered a Zio monitor for me to wear 7 days. Mychart always gets the test results before the team reads it. I received mine last Tuesday. I left a message for the team on my chart and still haven't recieved a call or an update on my result. For someone who has high anxiety this is the only downfall. I even left a message with the front desk to have someone call me. The saying no news is good news. Over all Dr Haber is really Great

Today I had an appointment at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute Union West. Everyone was so kind! Doctor George Dodds was very professional. He was dressed in dress pants, dress shirt and tie. He explained the care plan very well. It was a refreshing experience to be treated so kind and respectfully by all of the staff.

I had an echocardiogram stress test at Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute Union West. I admit, I was "stressed" about the stress test. The nurse and sonographer could not have been more kind or reassuring. They coached me through the whole thing and I was at ease with them the entire time. My experience from arrival and check in to my leaving the clinic 30 minutes later was very positive. Thankfully my test results were very good - all is well with my heart. However in the future should I or anyone in my family need cardiac or vascular care it is very reassuring to know that the Sanger Clinic is so well staffed and assessable in Union County.

Dr. Rose is an amazing cardiologist. He answers all my questions; I never feel rushed. He's communicative, professional, gentle and kind. I am blessed to have him as my doctor.
