Dr. Edmunds is my father's cardiologist and I have accompanied him to several appts and witnessed first hand how the doctor and his staff interact with patients and each other. The front office staff is exceptionally nice and efficient. They know the patients personally (or at least convey that feeling) and treat them with respect. They deal with making appts and collecting ins info with great care and professionalism. Dr. Edmunds has a very serious personality (just what you want from your cardiologist, right?) and when you first meet him it is difficult to get a feel for what he is like. He is very thorough and leaves no stone unturned. His experience and knowledge should put any patient at ease as you could not be in better hands. That being said, he also has no hesitation about referring a patient to a specialist or someone out of his field if warranted. I feel so fortunate and I am so happy Lenoir has a cardiologist of this caliber! UPDATE: No longer available-retired
