Oh How I was express with everyone, I mean Frye Hospital period! Now the girl at the out patient said my name isn't on her list! But,it was!! So my daughter Amy and I walked to the lobby! The nurse wasn't Happy At All and she took care of it! Y'all have the best Heart catheterization team! My first time!!! Dr. Patron was just as awesome to! Thank you!! Kimberly who took care of me after my procedure was great!!!

My office visit made very pleasant my every person I met. I was pleased with Dr Mayl and his nurse. Also, I always enjoy seeing Sarah for my pacemaker check. Carol Clark

Firstly, I really like Dr. Alkoutami. He is thorough, seems genuinely invested in his patients, and takes the time to answer questions rather than rushing out the door, as I've experienced with many other doctors and surgeons. However, there is one staff member whose demeanor was quite disappointing. To put it mildly, she was belittling and lacked both understanding and compassion. In this field, I feel that it is essential to possess the qualities that make someone genuinely caring and respectful toward patients, and unfortunately, she did not demonstrate those qualities. Although I was very upset after my initial interaction with her, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, assuming she may have been having a bad day. However, when I was met with the same attitude at my next appointment, it became quite clear that this behavior was not an isolated incident. It felt personal and left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected.

I've been a patient for almost a year and a half. I had a cardiac catheterization and triple bypass surgery at Frye Regional Medical Center and was completely satisfied with the surgery as well as the rehab afterward. What I have issues with is the follow up care down the road at FryCare Cardiology. If you need support in between scheduled appointments, good luck. Having heart and or blood pressure issues there can be a lot of variables that can concern you in between scheduled visits. You call and hardly get a live person to talk to beyond the reception desk. You have to leave a message with the nurse, and are told if it's an emergency go to the Emergency Room and to expect a reply time of 24 - 48 hours. Most of the time I call I'm trying to not elevate my situation into an emergency and want to head that off by support or direction from the Cardiology team. I think they have to remember they're dealing with people with serious health issues and need them to be there at least during office hours.

If there were a way to give negative stars I would! Dr. K is a joke! My daughter is 26 and has several autoimmune diseases and POTS. She sees several specialists. We decided to try a different Cardiologist since all the previous one did was prescribe medication. Dr. K didn't do anything but advise her to do what she is already doing and see him in 3 months! Then he makes out like she is the one wanting more medicine. WTHeck??! What a freaking joke!!! WE DON'T WANT MORE MEDICATION WE WANT ANSWERS! I am sick and tired of so called doctors gaslighting the patients! You are causing more psychological harm than good! You are to do no harm! You took an oath in case you have forgotten!
