My philosophy on patient care is that the doctor-patient relationship is very important and all decisions are shared. In addition to this, I believe that wellness and prevention are a vital part of cardiology. In my leisure time, I enjoy pottery, hiking and getting out into the outdoors. I currently accept both physician and self-referrals.

I have only good things to say about my experience with Dr Martin Sullivan. His fast and accurate diagnosis together with arranging immediate transfer to the ER ensured that I was treated for a cardiac cathartisation the same day. His expertise and swift action ensured I am here today to write this review. 5 stars.
Absolutely a caring cardiologist...he has been my "doc" for three years. I spent one week in the hospital in Charleston three years ago and transferred to Dr. Sullivan......he has been absolutely caring and helped control all my cardiac problems, especially my A-FIB. THANKS - Tony
Dr. Sullivan takes the time to really listen. He is very thorough and reassuring. He and his team helped make a stressful time easier.
I leave 1 star because no option for zero. My partner would have died, actually surgeon said he shouldn't be alive, if we continued with this man. He had FIVE bypasses and Dr Groh said may have heart attack on the table! Thanks to Dr Grohs expertise, he is alive and well! We have begged for years for a heart cath to be told he wasn't a candidate! We finally insisted. Sullivan said he would call if a problem. Never heard back. Over two months later, he had an appt with his lung Dr. HE Read the scan that said "SEVERE BLOCKAGE"! I called Sullivan's office and the girl got us in immediately. He had the audacity to tell us he could treat him with medicine!!! RUN FROM THIS MAN!!!!!
He saw my father in the ICU at Pardee. Out of all the staff we encountered there, he was the worst. Not personable at all. In and out of the room as quickly as he possibly could be. He didn't introduce himself. It was clear that he hasn't communicated with my father's primary cardiologist. He didn't even know the plan was to discharge my father and started talking about moving him to another room in the hospital. My dad told him the other Dr said he could go home. My dad (who doesn't do computers which explains me leaving this review) called Dr. Sullivan sarcastic. His bedside manner was awful. Thank goodness my dad's heart cath wasn't done by this guy or he would be his primary cardiologist. Don't go to this man.
