My husband was seen in the hospital by two different doctors two weeks apart. June 15th a heart attack after which he started having symptoms a week later. We called the office, he was seen by the PA and was told he was fine even though she barely looked at him. The next night he was back in the emergency room and the morning after he had two more stents placed. He continued to tell them he did not feel better that something wasn't right. He was released from the hospital anyway. A week later we went to the office and he was seen by the PA. She was rude. She talked over him and told him he was fine and how he felt was just something he had to get used to. We left and decided a second opinion was the best option and it's a good thing!!! My husband would not have lived another year or two had we listened to the people they had him see as follow up. The second opinion found that my husband had four more blockages and a bridge in what is known as the widow maker artery. He also could not see a doctor post surgery. The best they could do was October, when last surgery was in July. Then when they appt was coming up they wanted to change it. He had already seen the new doctor three times plus the surgeon and had surgery before these people could be bothered. The only reason they got two stars is because they did at-least save his life twice, heart attack and then 100% block with clotting to the stent that was put in. I really do hope someone from the practice reads this and will do some more training with your PA's, it could save someone else. Some people blindly trust what a medical professional tells them. In the picture is what was going on when they said he was fine.

My recent visit with Dr. Letts went extremely well. Everyone I encountered, from the receptionist, the clinician that did all the pre-visit vitals checks, and the check out desk were all very kind, courteous, and professional. I wasn't in the waiting area but maybe five minutes before I was taken to the exam room. The time spent with Dr. Letts went exceptionally well. His "bedside manner" was great, and he answered any and all questions I asked. The exam went well, and he assured me that everything as far as my heart, was in good order. He's a great Doctor, and I highly recommend Caromont Heart & Vascular to anyone in search of good care.

I've been a patient more than a decade. I'd give Dr. Letts five stars! He's great... but it has become almost impossible to see him. I'm paying the same co-pay to see a nurse and often my questions can't get answered. My PCP said months ago I needed to see Dr. Letts with symptoms I had- he even contacted them and the office called me and said I did not need to see Dr. Letts! They made me wait months and now I'm headed back to the cath lab after extensive testing. Follow up has tumbled at this practice. It makes me sad. There are just too many people here now and not enough doctors and we're paying the price. I'm not sure what the solution is- health care delivery is just a mess everywhere now. I am thankful emergency care at the hospital seems to still be good.

Everyone is so kind and friendly, eager to assist you when needed, facility neat and clean, no long wait time, Dr. Baja is the greatest doctor, very patient and answer all health questions.

The visit itself was very good. The Doctor was very informative and the nurses were very thorough. However, you're call in appointment phone system is not very efficient. My wife called three times in one day to get an appointment and was disconnected each time. She also left a message for a call back twice and still has not gotten a response. Usually when she does get through to someone it takes about a 20 minute wait time on hold before someone answers. She still hasn't been able to get information on when I can get scheduled for a procedure. I give the doctors and staff 5 stars.
