Patient
This was my first time to a cardiologist. I've been having what I feel like could be some palpitations, and I wanted some reassurance that what I was feeling was ok, and it wasn't anything serious. I felt really stupid going but whatever has been going on with my heart has been bothering me and really wanted to talk about it. My overall experience was alright, the ladies in the room beforehand were very nice and sweet, and even Dr. Usher seemed friendly, but in the end I felt like I didn't really get a straight answer as to what might be wrong with me, or if anything was. Dr. Usher kept mentioning I think PVCs and something else, which he didn't explain to me what that means, so I still have no idea, I'm assuming some sort of palpitations. So he gave me a heart monitor to wear but only for my reassurance, it wasn't anything he was concerned about. And the heart monitor seemed very outdated and the MA was ok about helping me with it, but didn't really explain much, so I just wore it and hoped it recorded what it needed to do. The most disheartening thing about all this is that I wore this thing for 24 hrs, then my husband went and dropped it off at the office, the ladies at reception looked at him like he was an alien and wondered what he was dropping off. And since that day I haven't heard anything about my results. That was on May 3rd. I called their office on Tuesday May 9th, and left a message and still have not heard back. I feel really upset about all this, and even if nothing is wrong or my results showed nothing of importance, it would be nice to at least have a callback to let me know. I'll call back again next week, but I will not ever be going back to this office if this is the type of treatment received. :( I wouldn't have given it any stars but you have to leave one. I'll be going to a different cardiologist for another opinion.
