Southern Regional AHEC

I have been a patient at this facility since 2011. I'm completely shocked at the terrible reviews being left for this organization. Me and my family have had mostly positive experiences at SR AHEC. We had the privilege of being cared for by resident Dr. Julia Teck for years. She was the best doctor we have ever had. I have been seeing Romanda at Grice for years, who is over the top an awesome therapist! We did have a hiccup with a couple of providers we saw at AHEC but we moved on, as it wasn't serious, just a personality conflict. We have a new resident doctor, Dr. Jessie Tate, who is very personable and competent! Dr. Tate recently referred me to a doctor at UNC -Chapel Hill ENT for ongoing nasal issues. That referral saved my life, literally, as I had a hole in my nasal/skull area that required immediate life saving surgery.. We have been treated with the upmost respect by the office personnel. Reminder of appointments is great! We will continue to be treated at this facility as long as we can.

The resident physician Dr. Seifert was absolutely amazing! Robercina was amazing as well. She helped me so much and with no hesitation. As a person with a disability, they both made me feel seen and heard. I still felt like a human being and like a lady. I appreciate them from the bottom of my heart. This was the best experience I've had at this office and in general.

Dr. Riddley and Christy are the absolute best! Excellent rapport with patients and they quickly take care of prior authorization and really go the extra mile. I highly recommend Dr.Riddley and Christy!

My visits are always great, with the exception of today. Please do something about sending the link to check-in early and accepting payment. I was on time to my appointment and used the provided link in a text message. At which it tell you when done, you are checked in. Not the case. Since it's not stated you have to scan the QR code as well, I was never checked in!! Resulting in me "missing" my appointment and having to reschedule.

Ms. Erica and Ms. Tanya are angels! I was so anxious to be coming back to Southern Regional AHEC since previous staff that used to help me had either retired or left the area, but Ms. Erica made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and understood my hesitation. Her and Ms. Tanya helped me so much within 30 minutes of me being there and I cannot thank both of them enough for all their help! Thank you so much! Ms. Erica and Ms. Tanya really exemplify the dedication and sympathy that people who assist the public should have.
