We were greeted at the desk by a very friendly receptionist who gave me paperwork to fill out. We only waited about 10 minutes to see Dr Maughan. He was extremely kind, professional and answered all my questions. They allowed my husband to go in the room with me because I had a decision to make about surgery. To those who leave bad comments, humility and a soft answer goes a long way; treat others the way you want to be treated and maybe you won't have so many negative opinions.

Grateful for the surgical skills of Dr. Maughan and his team. The level of care post surgery at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center was exceptional in my opinion.

They have a sign on their door that says if the patient needs help with walking or with communication or with a healthcare decision, that they can have someone come in with them. That is a lie. My father is heard of hearing and does not remember things or gets them confused. When I tried to tell them this she very hatefully told me to stay out in the foyer. TAKE YOUR SIGN DOWN!! And Dr. Maugham needs a new nurse. Hateful, hateful, hateful.

DR MAUGHAN IS VERY GOOD. HE SAW ME 4 WEEKS AGO AND TOLD ME HE HAS TO OPERATE ON ME ON MY RT CAROTID. HE IS A LIFE SAVER. BUT HIS health care tech , THE SHORT BACK GIRL, I do not care for. She does not seem happy with her job, maybe she was just having a bad day. It happens. She was suppose to schedule me for surg. It's been over a month. I've not heard a word. At least give me a call and tell me you haven't forgotten me. I really don't want to have a full blown stroke. I'm having mini strokes AND DIZZINESS alot. Dr maughan can you ease address this? Please help save my life again. THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXPERTISE ON MY LEFT CAROTID. LOL, NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO SURGERY AGAIN BUT YOU DEFINITELY ARE THE BEST DR FOR THE JOB. I TRUST NOBODY ELSE.
