Dr. O'Brien is the best!!! While He is knowledgeable and professional, He is also very personable. He listens and covers all the bases. I also love that he is not an advocate for medicating children unnecessarily. We appreciate him so much!!! He's been my daughter's Dr. her entire life so the trust is there.
Amazing pediatrician! Always listens to all your concerns-no matter how big or small! Very knowledgeable, great bedside manner. Our family is grateful for Dr. O'Brien. Our son has been his patient since birth. He is a preteen now and actually looks forward to talking with him. He has developed a great relationship with him.
I just recently shared this exact info with one of our special needs parents group. He is fabulous!!! " Dr. Obrien with Cabarrus Pediatrics is phenomenal. I don't know if he is accepting new patients but our previous pediatrician took leave and she asked if we would like another provider and of course I said Obrian. And we were very lucky in acquiring him. This just happened in July. He is top notch, very skilled he worked at St. Jude's in Tennessee before relocating here. And I promise you have to be exceptional to work at St. Jude's. I actually wanted him originally when we first relocated back to the Concord area but he wasn't taking any new patients at that time. He is about his patients and their comfort and he doesn't miss a beat and I say that with a very medically complex kiddo who is actually scary for a lot of PC's. I couldn't say enough good things about him, he truly is the epitome of what you want as a primary doctor for your child.
Doctor O'Brien was ao kind, patient, met my 2.5 year old at his level. Made him feel comfortable by playing wirh him with small light. Forever our Pediatrician.
We love Dr. O'Brien! He is always hands on with my children and will break things down so they can understand even if my kids have questions as well. He follows up directly with you if awaiting any results. Very knowledgeable and attentive with the kids and I love that!
