For more than a decade I have not been to the doctor, Hospital, or otherwise primarily due to fear of the unknown. An emergency situation brought me to Atrium health where I was placed the Intensive Care Unit for 3 days. From the beginning of my stay at the emergency department on Lane Street then transferred to ICU 2 at Atrium Northeast the service, care and concern that I received was unparalleled. Every one of these doctors and nurses and Food Service staff need to be commended on their professionalism , courtesy, and bedside manner. Furthermore, upon my discharge, the care and concern did not stop. They continue to reach out and provide top notch transitional Continuing Care and education
