Finding NOVANT HEART AND VASCULAR INSTITUTE was such a remarkable blessing and it is out here in Steele Creek!..Both Melissa Tungare, Nurse Practitioner and Dr. Lakakula are outstanding, caring, and know your history down to the last detail. I couldn't have found a practice that I have more confidence in. Each of their staff members are just as wonderful, too. Great care!!!

What a wonderful doctor! I am recommending Dr. Vamsee Lakkakula to my family members. His bedside manner reminded me of how kind and attentive doctors used to be. I wasn't rushed or made to feel like a number. My concerns were acknowledged and addressed and he took the time to explain what may be happening and what our next course of action should be. He encouraged me to be an active participant in my health-care and he didn't speak to me with the condescending tone that way too many doctors have. I left trusting he was concerned and ready to help me get better.
This location has the kindest staff. The nurses and doctors take time to actually listen to their patients and recommend the best and safest methods of healing the symptoms. I'm so glad I was referred here it has been one of the best medical experiences I have had.
