I believe that God was really watching over me when I went to the ER with what I was sure was a gallblader attack but turned out to be a heart event....two blocked arteries requiring 2 stents to be inserted. Dr. Cox was the doctor who placed those stents that greatly improved my heart function and added years to my life I'm sure. I thank God he was on duty when I needed him. At my follow up visit I found him to be extremely knowledgable, compassionate, caring and understanding. When I shared my concern over one of the medications I was taking, he agreed we needed to change things and I feel much better now. I am very happy to recommend Dr. Cox to all who need a good cardiologist.

Dr. David Cox from Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Pineville, NC saved my life on 8/12/2025. I don't even know where to begin when it comes to describing what this kind, funny, compassionate and truly amazing man means to me. He has one of the biggest hearts -- he takes the time to sit down with you, explain things clearly, and genuinely cares for his patients.
