My mom recently spent three weeks at the hospital, and I can't express enough gratitude for the incredible care she received from Dr. Willow Bryan and his outstanding team. From the moment she was admitted, every nurse, doctor, and staff member treated her with genuine kindness, compassion, and professionalism.
Dr. Bryan was not only highly skilled and attentive but also took the time to keep our family informed every step of the way. His calm, caring approach made a difficult time so much easier for all of us. The entire team worked seamlessly together, ensuring that my mom's comfort, recovery, and well-being were always the top priority.
It's rare to find a group so dedicated to both medical excellence and heartfelt care. We are deeply thankful for everything they did -- they truly went above and beyond.
I would highly recommend Dr. Willow Bryan and his team to anyone seeking exceptional, compassionate care.

My wife had a Brain tumor removed here this week. Everything went beautifully. Every UNC staff member, Doctor, nurses etc were amazing. Even random staff members in the hallways and elevators were very friendly. My job puts me in several different medical facilities in my area. No one has ever been as nice and kind to me there as they have at UNC. And I'm providing a service they need and request. But anyways... Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I have never been to this hospital and my spouse had a procedure this morning. I was instructed to come for pickup and was given the location of the Cancer center entrance for pickup. After my experience (and i didn't even step foot inside at all). I will NEVER COME BACK HERE!!! I have NEVER been treated so bad as I was today. Even when dealing with Duke Hospital which is a crazy headache.
The traffic officer decided to fuss at me repeatedly while I waited to pick up my spouse who had surgery. I can't control Hospital transport and when they wheel someone down. But fussing at me saying they aren't coming and telling/yelling at me to leave is uncalled for! Which i have my dash camera footage that has the exchanges. I have never cried in my van except with the passing of family members until today. I was fussed at so, I was crying waiting on my spouse. I couldn't have even understand what he was saying. I even explained i have NEVER been here before. And yet fussing at me was the choice they took and having me move to another location after riding in a circle multiple times because I have no clue where i was supposed to go. Never again will I come to this horrible place!!!!!
I can only imagine the way they treat other people here. Unfortunately, I have to stay at least tonight in town because of the procedure my spouse had or I would get my stuff and leave this horrible town right this minute!!! Disabled and my spouse being a Veteran i would have never imagined the level of disrespect from someone that doesn't even know my name.

My visit was from 07/02/2025 to 07/03/2025. Be very careful, take videos, and get paperwork and acknowledgements from the care team before you leave the hospital. They will charge you for things that you declined service on or for things they tell you are no charge. I declined to take the hospital ambulance from the Hillsborough ER to the Main Hospital because I was okay to drive and because I didn't want to pay the bill for the transport. The staff assured me that I wouldn't be charged and said, "it's like changing from one room to another. It's a within hospital transfer so I won't be charge". Then weeks later I get charged with a $1600 bill from an ambulance company. Not only did they lie but they also outsourced the ambulance company that wasn't in my network so I'd be billed more. The billing department said they can't do anything because they didn't send me the bill and I didn't take their ambulance. Their patient relations team pretty much said, it's my fault for thinking anything is free and that I shouldn't take the word or their staff. I also declined OT and PT because I was trying to reduce costs. The doctors asked if I would just talk to their OT and PT for a second and I wouldn't be charged and he would put it in his notes that I declined OT and PT. I got charged for both, and the doctor didn't put it in his notes so I couldn't even pull it up from the medical records as proof of refusal of services. The staff smiles and acts like they care but don't be fooled. Look out for yourself and don't trust anyone in the building no matter how kind they act towards you. Don't bother calling patient relations because they will act like they want to helps and will do everything they can when you get off the phone with them but they'll just send you an email a few days later laying nothing can be done. It's a waste of time trying to resolve things with them if you don't have the proof or do your due diligence to protect yourself before leaving the hospital. Only solution after the fact is hiring a lawyer.

I stayed on the 8th floor for a EMU and I have to say that was the best experience at a hospital I've had! The nurses, na, charge nurses, Dr's, unit clerks, cleaning, food and nutrition was so very nice. I loved the fact that the nurses carried on a conversation with me. To the ones on the 8th floor, it was a pleasure to meet all of you.
