We moved to NC 15 years ago from Main and my wife has a series of heart conditions, very stressful to find a new Dr. We found and have seen Dr Mobarek 14 years ago and pray he never retires! Awesome bedside manner, he listens, knows her, knows her case, we can't say enough locative about him. Last 2 times our insurance has changed and he has been out of network for us and we still come as he is that good. Staff is always kind and attentive and facilities are always clean. If you need a Cardiovascular/ Cardiologist Dr Mobarek is your answer.

This one star is for Dr Mobareks two new nurses. Renee and Emma. Emma resounded to a message I sent after being seen in the ER for extreme blood pooling. She responded then proceeded to close the messages so I could not even respond to it and it's been two months and I'm still having severe blood pooling issues but no information on how to proceed or even who I could see instead of Dr Mobarek. Renee refuses to submit a prior authorization for my genetic testing so we can rule out vEDS. I need a doubly mastectomy but oncology will not proceed until this testing is done. Renee expects me to somehow log into the Tricare PROVIDER PORTAL to provide her with "all that info" because and I quote "I've never had to submit a prior authorization for genetics, and I've never done one for Tricare". Ok and I spoke to my insurance and Invitea and this was what they both told me. I cannot afford the $3500 for this test. I have contacted UNC patient relations and reported both of these nurses, I am disgusted with this behavior and at this point I feel it is absolutely medical abuse. Not just neglect.

I have been with Dr M since mid year 2022, I was diagnosed in August 2022. My appointment was for 2/2023, but I knew I could not wait. Dr M is extraordinary to say he's very friendly knowledgeable. He has empathy and understands the patient needs and he also takes his time with every appointment versus some doctors only give you 15 minutes because that's all they allow but not when Dr. M Dr. M goes over and beyond your suffering with pots up or anything else regarding cardiovascular, you have met a fabulous fabulous doctor. I had been suffering from an irregular heartbeat for years, and had undergone several exams and treatment options, but no doctor could properly figure out how to help me or even diagnose me, until I went to Dr. Sameh. After a couple of visits with Dr. Sameh, he decided to have me undergo a heart ablation that turned out to be extremely successful and I can't begin to thank him enough. To say that this procedure and his treatment was life changing, would be an understatement. He has so much patience and compassion, and is always easy to reach if I have any questions. It's been three years since my procedure and I haven't felt better than how I do now. Thank you, Dr. Sameh Mobarek!

I was referred to Doctor Mobarek after multiple doctors had basically bounced me around from specialists to specialists not being able to help me. I struggled with symptoms for almost two years and they had gotten worse early this year. Doctor Mobarek listened with compassion and he asked questions others didn't ask, so he could get a detailed, clear understanding of what I was dealing with. Thanks to him and testing he recommended I have a diagnosis and can take steps to improve my health as much as possible.
