Feraydoon Kohan, MD

I'm a fairly new patient, but I'll be looking for a new cardiologist soon because this has been the most unresponsive doctor's office I've ever dealt with. I need a medication that my insurance won't cover, and it's extremely expensive out of pocket. Dr. Kohan submitted an appeal months ago, and while I understand these things take time, I've had to keep following up myself because no one from the office ever reached out with an update. I definitely didn't assume no news was good news. Every time I called, I was just told there was "no update." On top of that, I had bloodwork done that showed very high cholesterol levels. I left a message for Dr. Kohan almost a month ago asking what his plan was in case the appeal got denied--and I'm still waiting on a response. My health isn't something to take lightly. If my cardiologist doesn't take it seriously, I'll find one who will.

Was having a health crisis with chest pain, shortness of breath, and trouble walking so I took my husband to the appointment for support. Doctor looked at me, talked back only to my husband (not me) and asked him "if it could it be anxiety" while I sat there barely able to open my eyes. When I asked for a test to rule out POTs, he then smirked and told me that "I read too much" and sent me home. No further help. No recommendations or treatment plan; I felt so defeated. Reluctantly gave me the order form for that test I requested only after I tearfully insisted (It's been months since that ill-fated visit and I'm still angry about it, so that should tell you all you need to know about my experience.)

I can't say enough good things about Dr.Kohan and his staff Karla,Jasmine and Milly . I have such great respect and trust for Dr.Kohan and if I could give him 10 stars I would hands down . When I go to him with a concern he doesn't ignore me .Sir William Osler said, "The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease." The great physician understands the patient and the context of that patient's illness. For you physician readers, take Osler's challenge. Be a great physician..

Dr kohan is an excellent doctor. He saved my mother's life. Thanks to him my mom is with me today. He is also my cardiologist. He is very professional and always gives me the best care. His staff is the best. I love this office

Doctor KOHAN is one of the best cardiologist. Office staff also very pleasant and helpful. Milly, Karla, Mary, Jasmin and Susy all are very nice. My father is 75 years old and Dr Kohan taking care of him like a family member. I strongly recommend this doctor for all my friends and family members.
