Dr.Terrien is wonderful very thorough, fast acting, and even got me into cardiologist sooner. I was upset as hearing you need surgery on your heart is scary especially when I am a single mama my baby girls already lost their daddy. Dr. Terrien was very comforting and reassuring things would be ok. Also he is doing a series of tests before surgery to get the closest look at things so he knows exactly what he's looking at. I am young & petrified however I feel very confident I am in great hands. Also want to acknowledge the office staff & nurses are all wonderful as well!! When I found out I needed open heart surgery, I met with several surgeons in my home state of Vermont as well as making the trip to Portsmouth to meet with Dr. Chris Terrien. Immediately, I felt at ease with Dr. Terrien and I knew right then that I would be having my surgery in NH. He was welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. Sensing my angst, he confidently explained the details of my procedure while allowing as much time as needed for me to feel comfortable with what was to come. From beginning to end, my surgery and aftercare went flawlessly. To top it off, my scar is so minimal and precise that my PCP jokes that Dr. Terrien should have initialed it because it is the best he has ever seen. Dr. Terrien is a top notch surgeon and all around fantastic guy. His surgical skills and comforting bedside manner are unsurpassed and I can not thank him enough for such a favorable experience and outcome. Eric Smith and Family

Dr. Terrien is terrific! He's knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely concerned about his patients. Mandating that people wear masks in the office is stupid. We all know masks are useless. The public health bureaucracy has zero credibility, and private healthcare loses credibility when they go along with the CDC's nonsense. Just stop, please.
