Suburban Cardiology Pc

They are horrible! I am still waiting on a call from Dr. Joy from two weeks ago after the head .nurse hung up on me. This after I insisted on speaking with my doctor. I was forced to file a complaint with their office manager. Two months ago they changed my meds without any follow up. I called a few times to make an appointment because the meds were making me sick. They told me they would reduce the meds only to lie and refuse to take me off of them. I am scheduled for a follow up in February of 2026, 3 months from now. Any physician would follow up within a few weeks to a month after introducing a new med. I was told to follow up with my primary. I do not trust Suburban Cardiology at all! I can see why they have a 2.7 rating!

Oh Lord... had I know it was rated a 2.7 I would have never booked an appointment. I arrived 20 minutes early due to new patient appointments can take longer. 1 receptionists the line 5 people ahead. I waited 1 hour before called. I noticed staff coming back late from lunch who happened to be the MA rooming me. She says I'm doing an ekg. I asked why since my primary sent the ekg over from last week. They alleged not getting the records. She didn't give me a gown just told me raise your dress up! Dr. Joy (very pleasant) comes in without reviewing chart or history and starts making recommendations. The visit was rushed and I forgot some valid information. I tried to tell MA who came back in to do the test. She responds oh you'll have to get the doctors to send that information. I said Dr. Joy was asking for it and said she would get it. How can a new patient trust an unorganized office like this?

I've been with Dr. Calandra many years, even at his other practice he worked at and he's the best. He explains what's going on, what he's doing, how we should stay healthy, and he talks very gently, making sure we understand ! Plus the entire staff is awesome, had a stress-echo last year, the tech was fantastic ! Love it there !

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Sat in an exam room for 4 hours. I continued to come out and ask when I was going to be seen. I ended up leaving and asking for my co-pay back. I get a letter saying I owe money....they owe me money for lost work time and lack of standards of care.

My experience here with the cardiologist was not pleasant. Her tone was as if she was scolding me for my medical issue. Waited 45 minutes in a room to see her for less than 3 minutes. Poorly explained my results. The nurses and Echo tech were very nice, however.
