After graduating from SUNY Stony Brook University, Dr. Weisen obtained his medical education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, where he was awarded an American Heart Association Medical Student Research Fellowship. The waiting room was clean and orderly. There was a place to sit and a bathroom nearby. The staff did not overschedule, so they took me back without delay. The nurses and Doctor Weisen were courteous and friendly. Dr Weisen took his time with me and answered all my questions. As soon as I walked back to the waiting area, I was able to schedule the next visit quickly. I'm very happy with the care I get there, and recommend Columbia and Dr. Wisen

Dr. Weisen has been managing my AFIB for about 15 years. He has taken a conservative sequential approach, going gradually from medications of various types at varying dosages to cardioversions to cardiac ablations to now a Pacemaker. His communication style is clear and friendly, he listens carefully and respects what I have to say, and I never feel hurried during my visits. His medical decisions are based upon my not quite unsymptomatic physical condition, EKGS, scans, and electrical mappings of my heart. I cannot imagine how anyone could have provided better care. I am extremely pleased with our relationship and my medical results.
