She's Rude and dismissive. I was a new patient and no matter what I told her in regards to my symptoms, she just blew me off. Although I'm in perimenopause.. she had no problem commenting about being over weight. I will never return here, no reccomend her. Terrible doctor

I'm puzzled by the numerous positive reviews for Dr. Goodger's practice. There's a stark contrast between the warmth and professionalism of the office staff and the disappointing experience with the doctor and clinical staff. The office staff is consistently kind and welcoming, which is appreciated. However, I had a concerning incident during my recent visit for an echocardiogram appointment. Despite booking the appointment over a month in advance, I arrived to find out it had been canceled without any prior notification. This was incredibly frustrating, especially considering the inconvenience of arranging childcare for my three small children. Nevertheless, the office staff later reached out to apologize for the oversight, which I appreciated. Regarding Dr. Goodger herself and her assistant, I cannot recommend them. The atmosphere in Dr. Goodger's office feels impersonal, almost like a factory. Dr. Goodger lacks bedside manner and displayed a dismissive attitude towards my health concerns, particularly my recent struggles with health anxiety. When I expressed my anxiety, her assistant showed little empathy, and Dr. Goodger's response was hurtful and insensitive. When she said to me to "stop torturing myself and take the anxiety medication already". Furthermore, Dr. Goodger's diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea was incorrect, as confirmed by a subsequent visit to a sleep specialist. Despite this, her office has failed to update my health records accordingly. Additionally, I felt rushed during my consultation, with Dr. Goodger providing minimal explanation of the prescribed medication and seeming indifferent to my questions and concerns. The lack of direct communication with Dr. Goodger, with interactions primarily with her PA, adds to the sense of disconnect and dissatisfaction with the level of care provided. Overall, my experience left me feeling unheard, rushed, and uncared for, which is disappointing considering the importance of patient-doctor communication and empathy in healthcare. Moreover, I felt compelled to voice my concerns to both my PCP and GYN, both of whom advised me to seek care elsewhere. Despite initially considering giving her office another chance, today's experience solidified my decision not to return to this practice.

Out of any doctor i visit (pcp,gyno,etc.) dr goodger is the warmest, most personable doctor to date. Truly an angel. I am so comfortable in her care. Thank you Dr. Goodger!

Dr. Goodger is a warm, professional and extremely competent cardiologist. I would highly recommend her.
