North Suffolk Cardiology was founded in 1980 by physicians Peter F. Bruno, MD, Michael P. Cesa, MD, and Albert H. Riccio, MD. Today, our practice is the largest cardiology practice on the North Shore of Long Island. We specialize in adult cardiovascular disease-preventing, diagnosing and treating heart and vascular disorders through both non-invasive and invasive means. While invasive treatment of heart disease is sometimes necessary with angioplasty or heart surgery, we are able to successfully manage the vast majority of our patients with medical therapy and help them return to a high quality of life. I don't think I've ever had a doctor who provided everything a patient needs. He is caring, thoughtful, patient and very pleasant and he has always gone beyond what any other doctor would do. He absolutely LISTENS and works with you to come up with a plan of care you are both comfortable with, not just pushing a ton of medications and tons of unnecessary testing. He responds immediately to medical calls of concern and just his demeanor puts you at ease. If there is one doctor I would highly recommend, it's Dr. Cesa.
