Peter Knight, MD

Dr. Knight is one of the most highly skilled, brilliant and dedicated surgeons my husband and I have ever known. He has an excellent team of doctors and nurses that hold him in the highest regard. He is extremely kind and compassionate with an excellent bedside manner. After performing open heart surgery on my husband, Dr Knight visited him every day and sometimes twice a day, just to check in. Everyone we spoke to on the hospital staff told us that we were lucky to have him because he is the very best, and we couldn't agree more.

Dr Knight performed five bypass surgery on my father in 1993. He was 65 years old then. He is now 97 and just stopped driving 5 months ago. I will always be grateful for his skill and his team.

On 4/14/2016 I underwent a MIVR type Aortic Valve replacement under the incredible hands of Dr. Peter Knight. I was 54, and convinced I was not long for this planet. Within hours of completion, I could objectively see and feel the difference. Within a couple weeks I was walking a couple miles a day. In 6 weeks I was healed and in regular rehab, back to work and incredibly grateful to be alive. I ran the first 5k of my life 2.5 years later, I'm back hiking, golfing... I got my life back. I hear a lot of folks here complaining about bedside manner. The man is exceedingly busy, not at all rude but deals with people in dire straights with direct and complete information. All I want to say to this hero, that has dedicated his life's work to OUR LIVES, is thank you. If you excuse me, I'm headed to the golf course.

Surgery for my husband was top! Wanted Dr. Knight to do the surgery as he was highly recommended by people who know who to ask for. Was very happy he took the surgery on. My husband is great and skis every winter out west and sails in summer. Very active and that was due to Dr Knight doing such an excellent surgery repair!!
