My mother had two cath scan (aka angioplasty) in less than ten years unfortunately both times we ended up having doctor Rajiv. Here are the key disappointments which we had to endure. On my recent appointment I did not even see any doctor or nurse or any hospital staff to explain to me about the procedure that was performed.. they took away the patients and performed the activity and my mom was sent back walking (within 4 hours of anesthesia she was walking without aid ) and there was no one to accompany her to the gate where I was standing ( I was not allowed beyond the receiption). No even on wheel chair .. She was not given any painkillers or IV prior to the test. Post activity she was not prescribed any meds ,no pain killers, no meds what so ever. They even did not give me a single call to explain how was the procedure,, how many stents she received , or any blockages , NOTHING.... They just want to get money from insurance and work like machines..
