Dr.Mangi and his staff are absolutely amazing. Words can not describe how grateful we are to have been under their care. Dr.Mangi has saved my husbands life twice.. I say this with no exaggerations. In 2011 Frank was left in a local Connecticut hospital with no hope. He needed emergency mitro valve repair and was turned down by all the local and out of state hospitals because he was to ill and would not survive. Dr Mangi was the only one that took that chance and operated on Frank. If it wasn't for Dr.Mangi Frank would have not been here today. Fast forward to 2024 Frank under went an aortic valve replacement at a well known Connecticut hospital which didn't go well. The valve started leaking and an aneurysm formed .. they told Frank he needed a heart transplant. In disbelief we asked one of the head nurses to find Dr.Mangi for us and see if he would be willing to review Frank's medical findings. With no hesitation Dr.Mangis office called us and scheduled an appointment. Dr.Mangi was not Convinced that Frank needed a heart transplant but just needed his valves replaced and the Aneurysm fixed... it's been 4 weeks since the operation and Frank's has completely recovered. If we didn't seek Dr.Mangis help Franks future would have been uncertain. If you're looking for a surgeon who is knowledgeable and caring Dr.Mangi is that man.
