The worst doctor! His office is rude and unprofessional. He is annoyed to actually do his job. Does not care about his patients. He will never actually see his patients and pass all of his patients to his nurse practitioner Who is great, but when you make appointments with you pcp he should be available.

Doctor is an old fashioned type who knows his stuff inside and out. Friendly and knowledgeable A great doctor.

After being referred by a neighbor/friend, I've been a patience of Dr. Carvo' for about 40 years, Dr. Carvo has always been thorough and takes whatever time is needed to answer all my questions. Like many sole practitioners he has moved into a group. I suggest you don't judge the Doctor by those who answer his phone.

I should have believed the other reviews. The loser is not qualified to be a doctor. He makes you wait 2 months for the next appointment and then cancels the day before - offering the next appointment two more months out? Obviously he doesn't care about patients and only his own selfish self-interests. PS - the worst staff when speaking to them on the phone. I guess they follow his lead. STAY AWAY!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Carvo since 1988. He has helped me through many medical difficulties. Always caring. Great personality. He used to have his own office and now he is with Northwell so the staff issues with appointments can be a bit frustrating but I look past all of that because it is seeing him that matters to me.
