After reading some of the negative reviews I am thoroughly taken back because I had confidence that this would be a great Dr. for me since I work for NYU. But the sarcasm from him & almost non concerning on my last discussion with him has me thinking if I'm under the best care. Starting to look for another Cardiologist!!
Great Doctor! I was hesitant to see Dr. Chopra after reading some of the reviews. I'm glad I decided to go to him. He is wonderful! I found him very easy to talk to, he answered all of my questions and explained the tests I would be going for. After my husband had a stroke, I brought him to see Dr. Chopra. My husband is also very happy with him. Dr. Chopra may have a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor, but so do I, so I find him extremely funny. He is one of the sweetest, most compassionate and extremely skilled doctors I have ever seen. And his staff is the best.
Do not go to this provider if you have an anxiety disorder on your chart. Doctor is VERY rude and automatically jumped to that before even examining me. Said I was 'too young for anything to be wrong with my heart' when my bpm was constantly over 110 even resting. Said it was 'just anxiety' and I needed to speak with a therapist not him. Turns out it's *not* anxiety but severe anemia. Ended up at the hospital where they diagnosed me. Ignored a serious medical condition for MONTHS because he told me it was all in my head. Wouldn't go back if he was the last cardiologist in the country.
Dr. Chopra is very unprofessional. He has a problem answering questions and if he finally decides to answer your questions if he has not already left the room hes very sarcastic and rude. Dr. Chopra is just worried about his busy schedule that his staff has overbooked. I do not recommend him to anyone. Save yourself a trip.
Horrible experience! Never going to this doctor again . Not only did he rush me during my stress test he was completely unprofessional and told me everything was ok when I knew it wasn't ! I went to a different cardiologist and I'm being treated for what I have that this dr said was fine . Do not recommend .
