About Dr. Altaf M. Pirmohamed, M.D.
Dr. Pirmohamed is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York Presbyterian Hospital. As a specialist in Non-Invasive Cardiology and Vascular Medicine he interprets and performs stress tests, echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds and consults on the wards of New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. Dr. Pirmohamed was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and moved to Washington D.C. for his early education. He attended Georgetown University, earning his undergraduate degree in Economics and Spanish before staying to complete his medical degree.
