Steven Goldberg's quality of care is deplorable. Beyond his ego, he is booking too many patients a day and not treating, addressing or caring for them. He has made numerous mistakes with both of my parents. Missed serious infections and heart failure signs and given the wrong nutritional advice thst could damage my father's health. At this point its time he resigns or the American Medical Association should really investigate his quality of care!
My father was a patient of Dr. Goldberg back in 1991. He was being followed for a cardiac arrhythmia. My father started to have chest pain radiating into his left arm. My mom immediately called his office and Dr. Goldberg was too busy to come to the phone and told his secretary to have my father take Tylenol and put a pain ointment on his arm. My father died 2 days later of a massive heart attack. My mom tried to sue Dr. Goldberg for wrongful death, but since my dad was semi-retired his earning potential was low and the suit was dropped. I hope and pray that this never happens to anyone else. Of course, in retrospect we should have taken my father to the ER immediately, but my parents had so much faith in Dr. Goldberg they didn't seek further help. Sad to write this review. My father was only 69 years old when he died, unnecessarily. :(
Dr Goldberg is an excellent cardiologist and has a friendly and direct approach with his patients. He encourages questions and gives complete and clear explanations. His thoroughness often leads to increased waiting times for your appointment, so bring a good book, a bottle of water, and be patient. (no pun intended)
Excellent doctor, very old school doctor that you don't see much of anymore. He takes time with his patients so yes there may be a wait but only because he gives people the time and care they need and deserve. Dr. Goldberg truly dedicates his life to being there for his patients and really takes their care to heart. He's not a doctor who wants your money and pushes you out the door. He has many patients that have reached the 100 year+ mark who are remarkably well, so Dr. Goldberg certainly knows his craft!
Failed to diagnosis that my family member needed open heart surgery despite her telling him that she's still having chest pains and something is wrong. Thinks he's always right. Staff are beyond the rudest you can find.
