Dr. Yuen offered us a detailed explanation of the pros & cons on medications my husband was put on during a recent hospital stay. He took the time to review his lengthy history before entering the office and then confirm the accuracy of the "reported" history. He is personable and detailed oriented and a true patient advocate! He has a common sense approach to medicine. Added bonus is that the office is spacious (during covid this is a huge plus!) and the staff welcoming, pleasant and efficient.

I had my first visit with Dr. Yuen today and he fully understood my complex situation and was very confident with an action plan for my situation. He is an excellent listener, very bright and provided more than adequate time to go over my complex history. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr.Yuen made me very comfortable. He is easy to talk to and listens without rushing you and answer completely. I never left questioning anything. I like that he's cautious but yet doesn't put me in a panic. Great experience both times

I don't know where to START. I was referred by my New Pulmonoligist,Dr. Morim to see Dr. YUEN,Cardiologist. MY primary doctor, Dr. SARAH Spadafina also highly recommend Dr. Yuen. I had been seeing my previous Cardiologist for over two decades. He is a very Smart man and i am a very complicated case. I made excuses for him to my family and friends, and myself prior to, during my visit and after visits. I am a registered professional nurse. Yet, i stayed with this doctor out of fear. " A Battered Patient" He was verbally abusive, screamed at me and due to a staff member of his turning positive to Covid he really blasted me. He yelled at me in December. He told me that i cannot leave my house until April. He would not clear me Cardiology wise because of that. His words ring in my ears continually. "You don't understand! You don't get it! Then the words finally came out " If you get Covid, that's the end of you!" Finally he said what he was meaning. I was there for a follow- up on a 48hr. HOLTER MONITOR as i had "blacked-out" ,lost consciousness, and suffered a concussion. I was not to go to another Doctor's office,a radiology center , a lab for blood/ urine tests and even an ER. His approach was totally devoid of the Emotional/Human Part of thiui s person,Jeanne D. Unfortunately, with his directions, i was stuck. I had many doctor's appts. which included diagnostic and active treatments. I wrote to my Doctors explaining my situation. They work so well together. I was told that they discussed my case. They both disagreed respectfully with him. I saw the Previous Cardiologist one more time , for a follow-up appt. I asked him if we could be civil with one another. I asked to start I once again told him my symptoms( dizziness, lightheadedness, and falls) He 111qqtried to interrupt once, and i said please Dr. ------,we agreed to be civil. When i was finished, he started with i can no longer treat you. I felt "nothing"! He left the exam room and returned with a business card. It was the card of a new primary "Family Medicine" Doctor at another location. So,noone who new me. Noone,i knew. And a Doctor who replaced my former Primary who left the practice and moved to Florida over a year ago who i was waiting for. Not acceptable. This is when i was given the recommendation of Dr Yuen. I trust my Doctor's at NORTHWELL PHYSICIANS PARTNERS AT BELLMORE. I travel from Suffolk County to Bellmore, Nassau County, for Quality Treatmemt! I was introduced to Dr. Yuen a day or two after i signed out AMA from the hospital. Dr. Yuen was so kind and gentle on the phone. I agreed to go to the hospital because i "blacked out" again. The last place wanted to be. Dr. Yuen had a bunch of questions after reviewing the ER Records. One Question that stands oit tvhf in my mind is "-Why are you on Clonidine?" " I don't know? I've always beem on Clonidine!" He came up with a plan of care IMMEDIATELY. I was The Portal often. He had put a note in the portal right away andvit had the plan of care in it. Dr. Yuen responds to e-mail and even called me last night. He is so smart, gives me confidence in him and is KIND. I was embarassed last night. I forgot the current plan because it had been changed. Three concussions since January. He returned my e-mail this morning. No judgement. No abuse in the e-mail. He is kind and smart and has a plan in his mind for the Newest Plan of care. Do i feel confident in my Dictor's at Northwell? You bet! Travel if you have to for EXCELLENT TREATMENT

I highly recommend Dr. Brian Yuen. I came to him with chest pains and he and his office staff were compassionate and thorough. He and his Echo Tech, Leanne treated me as if I were their only patient.
