North Suffolk Cardiology was founded in 1980 by physicians Peter F. Bruno, MD, Michael P. Cesa, MD, and Albert H. Riccio, MD. Today, our practice is the largest cardiology practice on the North Shore of Long Island. We specialize in adult cardiovascular disease-preventing, diagnosing and treating heart and vascular disorders through both non-invasive and invasive means. While invasive treatment of heart disease is sometimes necessary with angioplasty or heart surgery, we are able to successfully manage the vast majority of our patients with medical therapy and help them return to a high quality of life. Courtesy, professionalism and respect is what you will find at North Suffolk Cardiology. Dr McBrearty always takes his time and explains everything. I always follow up with him after my annual medical at work and he always takes the time to thoroughly go over every detail. His bedside manner is awesome and he knows his stuff! The staff are just as great, service with a smile, but if I had to say one thing that needs a little TLC... it would be the phones. Calling the office and getting through to a person can be a challenge.
