About Dr. Long Island Heart Rhythm Center
The Long Island Heart Rhythm Center's number one mission is placing patient care first in treating heart rhythm problems. Dr. Cohen, "The Center's Director," is an educator and has a best health book entitled "A Patient's Guide to Heart Rhythm Problems" by Johns Hopkins Press. As an innovator he has helped developed some far reaching inventions that have been commercially available to help treat heart rhythm problems. This includes the foundation for the heart failure detection feature found in every Medtronic defibrillator and the ResQ Pump CPR device manufactured by Zoll Medical.
