My mom's cardiologist told me at 11:30am he was discharging her. Multiple times throughout the day I'm asking the nurse on my mom's floor (who was great) the status and she indicates they need Dr. Maheshwari to discharge her. I say we don't even know this doctor, but am told he has to discharge her on behalf of the hospital. At approx 4pm I'm told he will do it within 20 minutes. At 7pm when the nurse is about to change shifts, she goes out of her way and reaches him in his car on his way home because he has still not discharged her and I learn he forgot. She was discharged approx 8pm.

Front Desk Reception Is Horrible. I called the Massapequa office Four times today trying to get an appointment for my annual visit. Three times I was placed on hold for more than 10/15 minutes... The last time we'll two times let's say I called six times today the phone rang and rang before the last call I was hung up on. The Doctor is good just the Staff are unprofessional in the reception area.
