This office has a serious communication problem. They NEVER answer the phone, and voicemails--no matter how urgent--are rarely, if ever, returned. I'm currently dealing with a significant insurance issue and neither I nor my insurance company can get anyone to call us back, despite multiple attempts. This isn't a one-time thing--it's routine. Every time I'm in the office, there are several staff members at the front desk, so it's hard to understand why it's so difficult to reach someone or receive a callback in a reasonable time frame. Overall, the quality of care during appointments is good, but the office's failure to communicate makes things incredibly frustrating. Update: still haven't been able to get anyone to call me back. Dropped the rating down 1 star. If you are thinking of becoming a patient here, DON'T. The services aren't worth the aggravation. I really recommend going elsewhere. Office staff cannot answer a phone, return a call, or do their job efficiently.

I've been coming to Dr Mattheos office for many years and have always found her to be extremely competent, kind and professional. I especially appreciate the personal care she provides and feel confident that she goes above and beyond with my best interests in mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

My family has been seeing Dr Mary Matthews for close to 50 years. She is the most caring and professional Dr. we have ever used. Also very knowledgeable in her diagnosing and medical treatment. Always makes time to listen and go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. I don't know what people are talking about the staff but never had a problem always very courteous and polite. Never have a problem making appointments or getting information I needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Matthews to anyone that needs a good Dr.

I moved to Lindenhurst one year ago and needed to find a new primary doctor. Was I ever so thrilled to find Dr. Mary Mattheos. Every experience I have had so far has been wonderful. I would recommend this office highly.

Dr. Mattheos and her staff are truely the best around. I have been a patient of this practice for many years and can't say enough good about them. The office is immaculate and organized. You are always greeted by all with a warm welcome. She, along with her assistants, are extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I always feel I am being treated with care as if I were family. The front desk is efficient and responsive and they are all so friendly! My family and I are so lucky to have this practice to take care of us!
