I had an extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional experience with this doctor during a recent visit. I went in to have a 2.5 cm lymph node biopsied, which was clearly visible on my ultrasound. The ultrasound technician claimed she couldn't find it, and despite my pointing it out multiple times, the doctor dismissed my concerns. When I tried to show him, he smiled and laughed with the technician while I was struggling to locate the area--behavior I found deeply inappropriate.
He refused to perform the biopsy because he "didn't see anything," despite the ultrasound confirming its presence. No big deal. I wouldn't want him doing a biopsy on something he can't see. Then it was time for my thyroid biopsy, during which he moved the needle in an erratic, rough manner, claiming it was "quicker," which caused me significant discomfort and anxiety. Afterward, I voiced my concern to the ultrasound tech, and her response was that the laughing was "just the relationship they have with each other," which is unacceptable and unprofessional.
I have since contacted a patient advocate regarding this experience. I also noticed that other patients have reported similar issues online. I cannot recommend this doctor due to his dismissive behavior, lack of professionalism, and unsafe handling during procedures.

I agree 100% with the posted negative review. I almost got off the table before this doctor began the biopsy. I'd searched hard to get that appointment: NYU wasn't available for four months. He came into the room joking. I didn't like his arrogant insensitive attitude, so I stopped him, and he sat down to pretend to chat. I glared at him, but let the procedure begin. I advise potential future patients to leave, if possible. The thought of this biopsy was traumatizing enough without this unpleasant encounter.

One of the worst bedside manners I've ever seen from a doctor. He left while my husband and I were asking questions about the result of an xray and just walked out the door. Thank goodness for the sweetest doctor/nurse who was with him who made sure I felt comfortable. I would not recommend.

Absolutely horrified by the experience my good friend had with this individual recently. It perplexes me how anyone with the drive, stamina and means to become a doctor could act so flippant and uncaring in their practice. My friend was a new patient of this man's and left feeling so horribly mistreated she sought emotional support. Shame on male doctors with zero empathy for their female patients. Especially when dealing with sensitive female issues. I suggest this man and the entire staff revisit Kindergarten for a refresher course in how to treat other human beings.
