The absolute BEST dr there is!! I love coming too this office because your not treated like an addict your treated with dignity and respect! I had been too a few Dr's before I found Dr selter and his staff and mostly they were just about money, they didn't care about the patient, but with this office they care, it's not about dollar signs to them. As long as you do the right thing they will help you! I couldn't ask for a better office! The entire staff is amazing!

So I saw dr Jacob when I was 21 and my mother and father both just passed my mom at 19 my dad at 20 I started to try and get my life together I just got out of rehab this was my first attempt of getting sober. It was my second day out of rehab I did not use. I took the drug test it came up positive for opiates now I know everyone thought is my lying now I know the truth. Instead of talking to me like professional she came in and reprimanded me but what she said that day I never forgot she said a lot to spare this from being longer then it already is what hurt the most was when she said if I was her daughter she would be beyond disappointed and how her daughter who was my age is in college and making something with her life while I'm waisting mine. Now she had no idea my parents had passed I never told her when I tried to ask to re test the test and she continue to attack so I left crying and relapsed that day now I'm not blaming for her for my relapse but I am blaming her for being unprofessional and taking whatever she had going on that day on me. She unprofessional and bad doctor. This place is awful and discouraging and like other said a money mill. I saw dr seltzer after that incident he wasn't much better

Doctor Selter is a dying breed in Medicine... I have known and seen him for decades and can say he cares about his patients more than any other doctor I've ever seen personally, it's plain to see he takes his oath seriously. I have seen the whole spectrum of patients and you must be dedicated to getting well, and give respect to gain respect, if you do that you will find this to be a truly great office to help you Do as they say, be a little patient that they are SO busy EVERY day, and they will help you with open arms. I see alot of people disrespect the office and expect a red carpet drawn out for them. Those who give respect earn it.

Update over 6 years later and still sober These doctors saved me. I was short on money and they still took me in that day. They do everything by the books here. Drug test monthly plus they go over your meds with you to make sure you are comfortable. I'm am so thankful to find a doctor that actually cares.

I wanted to take a moment to praise Dr. Selter for the treatment that I've received from him. Making the decision to go and get help for substance abuse is a difficult one to make. However, once you decide that's the path you are ready to take, the next step is to find the right person to treat you. I really don't want this to come off like an infomercial for Dr. Selter, so I'm just going to speak from the heart. The experience I had with Dr. Selter as well as his staff was incredible. They are extremely competent, compassionate, attentive, and they take their job and the responsibility of treating their patients very seriously. They aren't some third rate operation to go to expecting you'll just "get what you want" and run out the door. You have to be willing to put the work in. And it's hard work for sure. But I couldn't have asked for a better doctor/office to walk me through the process and help me along the way. Anybody who is ready, and looking to find a Dr. to start this process would be very well served to call his office. Thank you again Dr. Selter.
