When I called to set up my appointment, they said they accepted my insurance. I showed up for my appointment on time and the staff said that they were waiting on my referral. They asked me to fill out the form, took my picture, checked my benefits and said that I had deductible. But then, after waiting for an hour they called me and said that they did not participate in my insurance. This is completely outrageous and doesn't make sense. They were unprofessional, inconsiderate and lacked basic decency. I would definitely not recommend this provider.

I called Dr. Mahadin's office to make an appointment and was disappointed to find out that she requires a referral to see her. The staff there was kind of abrasive and kind of arrogant. First off, it said on the door of her office that she does practice internal medicine. Not anymore. I was told by her staff that she only does cardiology and will not accept anyone who does not have a referral. So I have to pay $15 to my internal medicine doctor and then pay another $30 to see her, ridiculous. My insurance said I don't need a referral to see a doctor. Ridiculous.
