Trinity Medical Cardiology

My husband was referred to Dr. Hong for his heart concerns. We found Dr. Hong and his staff to be very attentive. He listened to my husband's concerns and explained everything fully. The staff is friendly and assisted with all testing appointments to the best of their abilities. I'm confident that my husband is in good hands with Dr. Hong and his staff.

I had no choice but to give a one star,otherwise i wouldn't have given any.My pharmacy notify the office my script needed to be refilled.For 3 weeks i waited while i had difficulty breathing and twice i considered going to the hospital it got so bad.I even had to call off from work because i wasn't capable of making it through the day with my breathing.I ended up calling the office and was told i would have to wait 72 hours.Well i was in pretty bad shape,so i went to my primary doctor to get help and my medication. Within a hour i saw my doctor and got my medication.When i got home i had a voicemail stating the physician's assistant wanted updated records and a over the phone exam.Why didn't they tell me before my prescription ran out so i wouldnt have gone through such hell and stress.

Appeared that the staff was stressed. The Dr used an envelope or something of the same size to write notes! I did not feel heard. I almost left. Since then I have received multiple calls to reschedule appts or move up appts. Also, although educated with UB Med, the Dr lacked interpersonal skills necessary to establish rapport with the patient. Too clinical, did not seem thorough, and somewhat abrupt.

I was referred to here earlier this year from my general doctor. Dr Song listened to what I had to say and sent me for additional testing. This additional testing in 4 weeks turned out to show that I needed a triple by pass. They listened to my concerns and did not discount any of them. The receptionist is always friendly when I come in and they have since been very helpful.

I have had several stents in my past. I left my last cardiologist because he put his political views in front of his medical views and had my 88 year old mother in a waiting room full of unmasked people during the pandemic. My last cardiologist was about to stent my carotid arteries two years ago saying they were 70% blocked. I have been trying to get it done through Trinity medical but was told they could be 98% blocked i have nothing to worry about. This is just not true. I am having memory problems and the veins in my forehead are popping out. RUN, don't go here...
