Steven M. Kobren, MD

Dr Kobren has been taking care of me for 40 plus years. He is a brilliant and caring doctor. Very straight forward and explains what is going on. He also took care of both my mother and father for many years. I drove them from Brooklyn to Great Neck because I knew he would give them the best care . He cares greatly about me and my family. I have referred Dr Kobren to many friends and will without any hesitation continue to do so. He is the best of the best.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kobren's for over 30 years. He's exactly the kind of doctor you want in your corner -- knowledgeable, honest, and truly dedicated to his patients. He always makes sure you get the care and services you need, and your health is always his top priority.

Dr. Kobren is truly the best in town. Since he took over my care two years ago, my health has significantly improved. I had been struggling under a complex and overwhelming medication regimen prescribed by my previous PCP, but Dr. Kobren took the time to really listen, thoroughly review my records, and thoughtfully adjust my treatment plan. His approach was both purposeful and effective. He has truly been a lifesaver. One of the standout things about his office is the accessibility. Whether it's same-day testing or getting scheduled within the week, they make it happen--even if there's a bit of a wait, the process moves efficiently and gets done. I also have to mention his wonderful secretary, Angela, who is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and always willing to answer questions with patience and care. I'm so grateful for the level of attention and expertise Dr. Kobren and his team provide. Thank you for making such a difference in my life.

I can't tell you how amazing my visit with Dr Kobren was- I went to him with after going to emergency room a few times with chest pains .They always sent me home and told me it was anxiety.I was referred to Kobren by a family friend who swears by him. He diagnosed a small abnormality that no else saw and gave me a medication that changed my life! I'm so grateful that he was so attentive to detail. Since that episode sent my coworkers to him and they also agree he doesn't leave any stone unturned. It's great to know that there are still great doctors around

Why make an appointment if you have to wait an hour past it? Dr. Hurricane comes in and out. His stethoscope barely makes a 1/2 second landing on your chest then he runs out to another patient. They triple book appts. Dr. Kobren is a good Dr. but his office visits have become unfulfilling. Spends no time with you even though he says "any questions or concerns?". You are totally rushed. He used to be the best... He has totally changed. Im looking to switch Cardiologists now. I just edited this review from last year.. it has declined.
