Best healthcare experience of my 68 yo life, and I'm a nurse for 45+ years, I had open heart surgery March 29 2022 with Dr Imam, and I have never had a better hospitalization experience nor experience with a surgeon throughout my long healthcare career -- truly amazing, truly gratifying to be so well cared for at this stage of my career as a nurse myself. He's without a doubt one of the best!!me and my family will never forget him and can't thank him enough!! If I had to put my life in anyone's hands,this man would be at the top, he's beyond amazing, wished he would visit our state, he is very much missed here!! Him and his team was the best in our state to many the team saved my husband's life when he had already been given up on,I thank God that I had my husband flown to him when he had a office at Lexington Ky, instead of calling in family like I was told

Thank You Dr Imam for saving my Dad's life. My father went to the ER at NYU Langone - Mineola because of chest pain and numbness. We were notified that he had major blockage in his arteries and open heart surgery will be necessary. Dr Imam has gifted hands, the surgery went successfully and my father is recovering. Dr Imam and his staff are truly remarkable, they treat their patients like family. Dr Imam said that during the surgery, Angels were in the room. Truth be told... Dr Imam is extraordinary! He is an incredibly talented surgeon and a wonderful and caring doctor who is focused on his patients health and their outcome. As Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery , he builds a team so focused on patient health and outcomes that for my condition they are literally the best in the entire state of NY. His entire team is the most professional patient focused group that I have ever seen. I can say this confidently given that between myself, my child, parents and my extended family have together spent time in 11 different CICU and pediatric CICU units in Baltimore, Philadelphia PA, NJ and NY. Some of these institutions are considered the best in the entire nation if not the world. Many of them have specialties in a specific area that might also warrant considerations. But as an older adult with homes in two states outside of NY.. I could have gone anywhere ...but if I ever had to go through open heart surgery again I would gladly put myself in Dr Imam care again.
