Been a patient here since 2017. My doctor is top notch. Everything about Winthrop is top notch. Nothing is perfect, but they strive hard to rectify those less then stellar issues. My cardiologist treats me like a person. He knows my medical history/issues and personal life.
Do not go here unless you are seeking geriatric care. I saw two doctors here after a complicated pregnancy that ended with preeclampsia. I have never been so dismissed by an entire medical team who just told me to lose 10 pounds and take a Xanax when something was clearly wrong. I had to beg to get to the right medication level after 10 after hour calls/urgent visits and 2 ER visits. I tried to get in touch with office manager who never called me back. Changed to Northwell system - so much better and have specialists that can help women.
Just like most doctor offices the wait time in incredible. Arrived for a 1:30 appointment at 1:15 with paperwork already processed. Wasn't called til 2:45. Then another 45 minutes in room before doctor. I would never recommend this facility.
Took special care of my mother, takes great care of me. Always returns calls. I would never use anyone else!
My mother is a patient as well as myself. The care is excellent.
