My husband Andrew is a patient of Dr Altman. Andrew writes-- I had PVC and required an ablation . My cardiologist referred me to Dr. Altman. Dr. Altman is an expert performing ablations. He explained the procedure and calmed all my fears. The procedure took 3 hours and was a success. It really is a miracle that I no longer suffer from debilitating PVC that woke me up at night and took my energy during the day. Dr. Altman has a gift and he shares it with his patients.
I have been in healthcare for over 40 years as an Rn. I was sent to Dr Altman after my cardiologist instructed me to wear a cardiac monitor for several days. It was discovered that I had a 19 second pause while sleeping which was very dangerous. I was sent to Dr Altman who reviewed my results and suggested I have a pacemaker installed. I agreed he cut all the red tape for me and performed the procedure within two days. He literally saved my life . He is the most caring Doctor I have ever encountered. Thank you Doctor Altman. I went to visit dr altman. He basically did not care about what I have to ask about my condition. I have a heart condition and had few questions regarding pace maker and ILR device. He was not interested to answer my questions. He then sends a PA to answer my questions and concern about my well being. If PA was/is more qualified than him, i would have him see me instead of dr Altman. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. He does not care about his patients health/well being. His PA tells me "he is busy and doesn't have time to answer your explain to you about different type of pacemaker or ILR Device
On May 2013 I fell backwards felt weird detached like I was not there. That same month I saw Dr. Altman who was so detailed about what he knew more than thought he was wrong with me. I was scared and nervous went in for an EP study he figured out my problem. Saved my life, for years I felt something was wrong but no one took the time to listen and follow through. Dr. Altman wish you lived in Florida need you here. The best of the best knowledge is in his hands.
