Dr. Dai is very kind and attentive, and I truly appreciated the care I received during my visit. However, I have concerns about the front desk and billing staff's understanding of insurance procedures. I was informed that I needed a stress test, 24 heart monitor and echo, and that the office would confirm coverage with my insurance before moving forward.
7 days later, I received a call stating that insurance might cover the tests--or might not--and that I could be responsible for the full cost out of pocket. They explained that their policy requires the test to be performed first, after which the doctor submits the report and billing, and then insurance decides whether to cover it. This process felt unnecessarily vague and confusing, and I wish it had been communicated more clearly from the beginning.
I ended up contacting my insurance provider directly (Cigna), and they clarified that the tests are covered, but subject to my deductible and coinsurance. The lack of clarity from the office made the experience more stressful than it needed to be.
Overall, the administrative side felt disorganized and slow. I hope the office improves its communication and coordination with insurance moving forward.

A very personable Physician, speak fluent English. He examined me with care and discussed my labs with thoughtful feedback. His office is clean and not crowded. I feel his sincerity in his care. He also does not talk down on you which my previous Cardiologist did. He also seems very capable.
