Great cardiologist, warm and patient service, every medical staff and the front desk are very caring.
I've been using George since I had my pacemaker placed in 2004. He is amazing! Excellent bedside manner.. caring....patient and listens. I wouldn't use anyone else and I highly, highly recommend him. Excellent doctor and a great person!! I consider him a friend as well.
Five years later... I'm still seeing Dr. Juang but coordinating with my other doctors due to different medications prescribed that might interfere with each other. 6pm their office opens on a Tuesday. My appointment was for 615pm. By 640pm, I was back to the lobby after they checked my blood pressure, weight and EKG. 643pm, I'm sitting in one of the two offices waiting for Dr. Juang. 648pm, Dr. Juang came in and we started my follow up visit. Everything was a wrap in ten minutes. We discussed how effective the medication has been for me prescribed from my previous visit, and the options of changing the dosage or not. Then he suggested how we should proceed with the medications prescribed by my other doctor (which will eliminate 4 medications that I won't have to take anymore!!!!) I was beyond thrilled just to have that as an option, so much less side effects for every pill!!! I couldn't be happier !! I scheduled for my next follow up visit and was out the building by 703pm. Thank you Dr. Juang !! BTW: this was probably the fastest appointment I've ever had because maybe it's the New Year and people are still hung over perhaps? But usually, it's at least over an hour. However, in order to schedule closer towards opening time, you'll need to book it a good 6 weeks in advance.
5 years later, Dr. Juang is still one of the best Dr. I have ever had. He is not only a great doctor, we also have become good friends over the years. I would personally recommend him to anyone who is looking for a Cardiologist. Dr Juang is an amazing cardiologist. Been seen by him for 10 years now. He is attentive, helpful and sincere. I highly recommend him.
They're a shady business which I don't ever want to come across. I made a visit over a month ago. The doctor was in-network which meant I only had to pay $60 for the visit. Instead, they mentioned that I needed to pay $150 because I had to meet my deductible; this only applied if I was seeing an out-of-network doctor. Since I was there and I wanted to get checked, I paid with my payflex card so I could deal with it later. Two weeks ago, I had a follow-up appointment scheduled but I called to make sure whether they figured out that they didn't have to charge me the $150. The doctor answered and he said again, I had to meet my deductible. I said that only applied to out-of-network doctors. I then said I wanted to cancel my appointment. The nurse called me a couple hours later and said she could charge me $60 for the follow up appointment. I said no since I already paid $90 in overage. I said I'll find a new doctor. It's now been 6 weeks altogether and I also had the Aetna rep call them just now. The rep explained that I only had to pay $60 because the doctor was in-network. They have still refused to pay me back until they get the explanation of benefits. That was mailed out on September 19th and it's now September 28th. I'll wait another 2 weeks or so. Aetna said they'll take measures to rectify the situation if this office doesn't pay me back. This goes to show that it's just better to visit a reputable doctor's office. I've visited NYU Langone and NY Presbyterian a bunch of times so far to get all my check-ups. They all charged me $60 and mentioned nothing about a deposit. If you want to avoid this administrative hassle, I'd avoid going to this place.
