Elmhurst Medical

My experience with Elmhurst medical and Dr. Choudhury Hasan, went like this. at first I was very impatient and was complaining a lot about the wait time but once my name was called I realized why I had to wait for awhile. Dr. Hasan truly takes the time to listen to his patients and makes you feel heard and understood. Rather than rushing through the appointment, he carefully discussed my symptoms, explained possible causes, and walked me through different treatment options in a clear and thoughtful way. It's rare to find a doctor who combines compassion, knowledge, and genuine care for his patients' well-being. This probably was the longest time a doctor has spent with me as a patient! I was shocked by his patience to listen to my complaints about my well-being and the eagerness to help me with all that I'm dealing with! After a few visits I am feeling a lot better and has more understanding on how to properly care for myself. If you are always in a hurry then you should go somewhere else, but if you are looking for a doctor that will genuinely help you in every possible way then I highly recommend that you go see Dr. Hasan! The LONG WAIT TIME IS WORTH IT! 5 is not enough for Dr. hasan. Thank you doc!

Although the waiting time can be a bit long sometimes (around 10-15 minutes or a little more), it's definitely worth it! Dr. Hasan really takes his time to explain everything clearly and make sure that everything is okay. You can really tell that he cares about his patients. The clinic staff are also amazing -- from the front desk to everyone assisting. They're all very responsive, attentive, and friendly, especially when it comes to scheduling appointments. They even try to help with patients' needs even on weekends, which I really appreciate since the clinic is closed then. Overall, very satisfied and thankful for the great service and care!

I'm so grateful for finding Dr. Hasan -- I was nervous at first because of the wait time but now I see what everyone comes back for. He's absolutely thorough, patient and takes his time with you - it's truly like you're his family. I was sick and I didn't understand - I went to his office and he did an assessment and sent me to the hospital. Now most docs will send you and let you be -- not him. He called the ER (they were trying to just let me go) and literally advocated for me till the doctor did the proper tests and they ended up admitting me - with serious findings. Literally any other doctor wouldn't have pushed - I know because I've gone through this. But Dr. Hasan went above and beyond: the guy gives his personal number for emergencies. He also is very knowledgeable and experienced bec he's also a hospital/ICU physician so he's not just your basic primary care. I know folks complain about the wait but honestly this is your health you're talking about. Hang in there - he's worth every minute.

Doctor Choudhury M Hasan Dr. is truly one of a kind. He takes the time to listen carefully, never rushing through appointments, and always makes sure all my questions are answered. I appreciate how he extends his time when needed, showing genuine care and compassion for his patients. It's rare to find a doctor so patient, thorough, and understanding. Highly recommended.

Dr Hassan has been my PCP for a bout 3 years now. The office always responds to my texts and I can often get appointments the same day! You will wait a bit to be seen, but that's because the Doc isn't rushing anyone through their consultations.
