I cannot say enough good things about the Emergency Room nurses at this hospital. During one of the most stressful experiences of my life, they made me feel safe, cared for, and truly supported. Briana Barton, Jason Cabari, and Julie Conzoluez were attentive, kind, and reassuring throughout my stay. They consistently checked on me and made sure I had everything I needed. I especially want to recognize Julianna Kuhn and Samuel Mignogno, who went above and beyond in ways I will never forget. Their compassion, patience, and advocacy meant everything to me. They took the time to listen, answer my questions, ease my fears, and treat me with genuine kindness. As someone preparing to apply to nursing school, their encouragement and willingness to share their knowledge inspired me deeply. They showed me what exceptional nursing truly looks like. Because of them, I left not only feeling cared for, but motivated and hopeful. These nurses are an absolute credit to their profession, and I will forever be grateful for the care I received. I also want to thank this hospital as a whole. I have had multiple experiences here, and each time I have received outstanding care. This visit once again reminded me how dedicated, compassionate, and professional the entire staff is. I am truly grateful to this hospital for consistently providing such an exceptional level of care.

I have been a Peekskill resident all my life! Have I only heard bad reviews for our home Hospital which is this one. But, when I tell you how my labor and delivery experience was, please take my honest opinion. Since the moment I got there, they were quick, gentle, and so kind. To all the nurses and midwives in the maternity department, thank you! Thank you for your kind and hard working professionalism. I was impressed. Rooms were cleaned, big, and provided me and my family with great snacks and food. My experience was amazing, but remember my review is upon the maternity, labor and delivery department. So Happy, my baby was delivered so well. Thank you and keep up the good work! You deserve this review.

I was hospitalized in 2022 came in as a emergency, I had lost a significant amount of blood ,the staff was great, they couldn't believe with the blood count I had that I walked into (from the car in front if ER) the hospital..They signed me in ,I was very dizzy but didn't pass out, my husband was parking the car,and then the team got to work, put several IV in my arms ,one of which did something that resulted in my arm blowing up,quickly removed it and put warm compress on it, that arm was useless now fir IV ,they had to transfuse me 3 units of blood ,which they started as soon as the blood warmed up,at around midnight I was brought up to my room ,and the nurses were great, very attentive, I was forbidden from getting out of bed ,understandably, put on a liquid diet, until I had the endoscopy, which showed I was bleeding from the organ below the stomach, a ulcer, the doctor was fabulous as well as his team !! I was released on the 5th day, with a blood count of 7.8,which normal fir a woman is 11.7 but it was going up,again the nurses, doctor, kitchen staff were great! My only problem was the IV's I had issues with all of them ,pain swelling really awful abd the floor doctor although very nice was very slow with writing his orders for patients, so I was on a liquid diet longer than necessary, and the IV'S were in too long also as a result of the time it took fir orders..Other than that I know this hospital quite well and my experience as well as my husband and my parents were positive ,a few mishaps here and there but over all good !! No hesitation whatsoever with going there !!

I hate to go to the hospital and I don't need a doctor. But we don't control the situation.People need doctors and hospital.I would say that I have a good experiences in New York Presbytarian hospital. I always at the E.R year 2023.And the nurses and doctors are all nice.A couple of nurse for my ER visit injected me the IV and it made my skin violet and bruises. But It's ok I understand sometimes they're in a hurry and they are also stressed out but It's not a big deal for me. They are very friendly even the doctors.I understand them that I am not only the patient at the hospital but as long as they gave me IV I felt safe. Thank you for your service.

My mom was taken by ambulance to the ER on 8/14/25 and by the time I arrived there, I was told that no visitors were allowed due to the ER being at it's "people capacity". I pleaded with the girl at the registration desk to allow me since I was my mom's medical advocate but it fell on deaf ears. I was told since I was also the emergency contact, they'd let me know if something happened. While patiently waiting, I saw multiple "family members" walk in from the outside and be allowed to go back into the ER to be with family members. I wasn't happy since I was told no one was allowed back. I waited a little while longer to get an update and a guest sticker since I wasn't given one when I got there. The security guard there at this point was surprised I wasn't given a pass and be allowed to go back. Once I got the pass, the registration person told me what bed my family member was in. After a short time of visiting with my mom (maybe 25 minutes), I was ushered out to the waiting area as they were telling family members they weren't allowed back anymore since there were to many people. After waiting over 3 hours with no updates on when we would be allowed back or any kind of update on the patients status, one of the nurses came and asked each person waiting who we were with. After waiting another hour, I was finally allowed back to see my mom. With the ER at capacity and more patients coming in either by ambulance ( I counted over a dozen ambulances during the time I was waiting) or through the front door, I began to wonder about the quality of care that patients were getting. If the ER is at that kind of capacity, is it wise to keep accepting patients? Maybe send them to an alternative hospital if not a life threatening case. I know what happened yesterday was probably a rare occurrence but so many things could have gone wrong with patient care. I mean, I was hearing patients calling for nurses and my mom had her call button on in order to get a nurse to help the patient in the next bed but it took a long while for someone to respond. I guess they only respond if it's life threatening.
