North Suffolk Cardiology was founded in 1980 by physicians Peter F. Bruno, MD, Michael P. Cesa, MD, and Albert H. Riccio, MD. Today, our practice is the largest cardiology practice on the North Shore of Long Island. We specialize in adult cardiovascular disease-preventing, diagnosing and treating heart and vascular disorders through both non-invasive and invasive means. While invasive treatment of heart disease is sometimes necessary with angioplasty or heart surgery, we are able to successfully manage the vast majority of our patients with medical therapy and help them return to a high quality of life. My experience seeing Dr. Benson was very good! Was able to get an appointment as a new patient the same week I called. Showed up 10 minutes before my appointment and they had me right in and out. Staff was super friendly and helpful with booking my future appointments and working with my schedule. He by no means rushed the process, in fact he was thorough with his preliminary diagnostics.
