Harsh Jain, MD

Dr. Harsh Jain came highly recommended to me to be my surgeon for the procedure that was performed. I had nothing but a speedy recovery and now feel like a new man again due to Dr. Jain and his skills. I will be forever grateful to him. He is amazing! The entire staff at Mercy Hospital were ALL 5-star associates and I would highly recommend this facility to my family and friends. This is my second visit to the facility, and I can't speak any more highly of it when it comes to their commitment to their patients care. They are second to none!

I am extremely concerned over a surgical procedure performed by Dr. Harsh Jain of Cardiothoracic Surgical Associates. Operating at Mercy Hospital. Patient: Sharron R DiBerardino I as her husband, Robert, feel that there were in fact, either in the operating room or during recovery problems with the procedure. That were never explained to either my wife or myself by the surgical team of Dr. Jain. She walked into Mercy Hospital but could not walk out of Mercy Hospital when she left. The surgery took place on: 11October2024, Patient Number: #1776962. Required a great deal of care during post recovery. My wife was discharged from Mercy Hospital on 22 October2024.And transported to Harris Hill Nursing for rehabilitation. She cannot walk and she cannot use her hands or arms. I think, although, I have no medical expertise, that my wife suffered a stroke while being operated on or in recovery afterwards. I would like to discuss with Dr. Jain why she cannot walk and why movement of hands and arms does not exist. I would like to find out from Dr. Harsh Jain what has and is causing this dilemma. 26 October 2024. Robert J. DiBerardino

My husband went in for open heart surgery on April 12th, 2023. Hearing that he needed open heart surgery was very scary not only for him but myself as well. Dr.Jain explained the whole process and the risks of something going wrong during the surgery using percentages. I am a person that like to hear numbers/ percentages. I am very thankful for him and his whole team !! He saved my husband's life. Dr. Brian Hill also was very wonderful. He has a very calm aura about himself. He was able to answer the additional questions I forgot to ask Dr.Jain before leaving.

Unusually thoughtful care at Mercy & under Dr Jain's direction for triple bypass heart surgery. Dr. Jain has a great approach to calming you down and focusing you on the task at hand. His team clearly had a lot of respect for him. Was surprised by how interconnected everyone was from a communication perspective between different departments. Everyone was always up to date accurately about my status/condition. That gave me a lot of confidence that nothing was being missed. In addition, the staff were unusually focused on my success, so much so, I felt I couldn't let them down. That pushed me to do whatever was necessary to make the experience successful. Hospitals aren't easy places to be, but I have nothing but positive memories of a very difficult experience for me. And to sum up, recovery has been much better than anticipated with very strong back up by Brian Hill, and a team of nurses who made sure I was being watched over very carefully. Big confidence booster.

Dr. Jain was very thorough in my consultation before surgery and he has an excellent bedside manner. Thank you to Dr. Jain and the Physician Assistant Brian Hill for their expertise and professionalism. They are both very nice people.
