No complaints against dr manvar, my PCP, but the customer service and therefore overall practice needs work. Tried to make an appointment at bay parkway over the phone with a toto, was told to travel across Brooklyn because there were no appointments at bay parkway this week. Went to the downtown BK location to have my appointment disregarded and dishonored, as this office runs with the dreaded first come first serve policy. In my hour of waiting in the downtown location, I asked the younger Spanish speaking receptionist several times how many patients were ahead of me. All she said was she would go check and sat down to avoid eye contact. The other receptionist told me that dr manvar wasn't even in today, and that bay parkway indeed had time slots open this week, so I made this trip downtown and waited in a completely overbooked office for no reason . This level of unprofessionalism is really unacceptable. I left after an hour without seeing anyone, with this receptionist completely avoiding eye contact once more. I like my doctor, and am willing to change my review if the practice can prove that to the phone guy toto and the receptionist in the downtown location are reprimanded or replaced.
