Dr. Plawes has been my cardiologist for the past 6 years, and I can't ask for any better doctor. He is very experienced and knowledgeable in this special field. He will return your calls faster than any doctor I have ever seen. Even more, he wrote a concise and supportive letter enabling my employment in a position which stipulated upon his approval for me being hired. His office can be busy at times, but all desk workers are efficient, and the office is clean and comfortable.
Dr. Plawes was professional and compassionate. I was very happily surprised with the warm feeling I got from the doctor. In a world of unnecessary overcharging and overtesting, Dr. Plawes focused on what really mattered and cared about my well being more than anything else. I would highly recommend!
If I could give a zero star, I would. I preperation for a scheduled surgery, I needed my PCP to sign off and provide medical docs to clear me. I gave the Plawes Traube Marush office a month's lead time after calling them to tell them what I needed. Followed up a full week later for signed documents from my doctor, only to be hung up on repetedly- told 'it's not my fault' Plawes didn't complete the paper work. It was an ordeal. Once I got the paperwork- there were numerous test results that were never reviewed with me and zero effort was put into completing what was needed to authorize my surgery. The front office staff are rude and imcompetent. I had to beg for necessary medical files for a required surgery. I should have changed to a more skilled office- both doctors and staff. Shame on me. Now I'm left in a panic a week before my surgery trying to get medical approval. What a joke this office is.
