Dr. Mikhail Vaynblat, MD

When my husband had an episode in the hospital, some of the doctors had given up on him. Dr Vaynblat did a surgery and saved his life. He also explained his procedure to my family and put us all more at ease. He is definitely A cut above the rest. My husband also saw him for post-op visits and was extremely impressed with the doctor.

My name is Kelvin Cooks and in March of 2023 I had to be rushed to the NYU Langone emergency room because of severe chest pain. I was told that I had an aortic dissection and I had to have immediate emergency surgery. Fortunately Dr. Mikhail Vaynblat was on duty that day and he performed the life-saving surgery. He is and always will be my hero. Afterwards he told me that he thought that I only had a 1% chance of surviving the surgery but he wasn't going to give up on me. The surgery took 9 or 10 hours and he was able to keep his composure throughout the entire ordeal. He did some amazing work and did everything he possibly could to save my life. I will forever be grateful to him for saving my life. He is an amazing and caring person.

He was my surgeon for repairing a valve. He is the best and the most emotional person he treats you like your own family the best of the best and his death. Excellent

Dr. Vaynblat is the first doctor who during my first visit (before the surgery) said: "Ask me as many questions as you want to" and after that he gave a detailed answer on each one. And after the surgery, which was highly successful, he also guided my recovery. He is the highly skilled and the very reliable professional.
