About Dr. Wally Omar, MD
Dr. Omar is the Director of Structural Heart Interventions at South Shore University Hospital. His clinical interests are in valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, vascular disease, adult congenital heart disease, and mechanical circulatory support. Using transcatheter and electrosurgical techniques, he performs valve replacements and repairs, left atrial appendage occlusion, patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defect closures, as well as left ventricular septal reduction therapy.
